I think so. Or some variant of it anyway. I haven't done all that well, but I think it's a laudable goal to do better.

Seana: I think what matters with reading challenges is to participate and enjoy, not finish :D

For me, it's more that it makes me realize that even when I'm consciously trying to branch out in my reading, I somehow still don't get there. I don't know that I enjoy this, but it is certainly interesting to see the pattern or the gap or whatever it is.

Hi - I didn't participate last year but I might want to do so for 2011.

What do readers have to do?

Hi Beth.

Great you want to participate.

Here you can read about the 2010 rules, and I am not going to change much (except make Antarctica voluntary)

Am in for the 2011 Global Reading Challenge, even if I'm not yet done with the 2010.

Jose Ignacio: great that some of my ´old friends´ will join again next year.

I think this would be interesting...and expand my horizons. Reading books by authors from various countries often gives me an entirely different perspective on certain issues. And I do a lot of reading in the winter.

Sounds like a great idea.

I'm in. I'd keep Antarctica too - but maybe just one book, at whatever the very highest level is decided to be...

Kittie, Toyin, Craig: great to hear from you.

Craig: you are welcome to choose Antarctica for ´the seventh continent´; I just don´t want to force people to. I haven´t enjoyed it much this year.
